AJ's Winning Lap
A.J. was a “favor” from a special lady. I wanted something out of my Jake but did not have a bitch to breed. An acquaintance of mine said she had a bitch I could use…that was the beginning of a special friendship between Sande Winters “Winters Cockers” and I. I got my puppy from Jake, and a best friend and mentor out of the deal to boot. A.J. picked up some points with my daughter Jen and Coleen McGee. He was sent to Harriet Kamps to finish his championship-and did he ever! Six weeks later A.J. came back CH. Normandy Winters Body by Jake. A.J. is sound, sane and outstanding tempered. He has the exuberance of his father Jake balanced with the sanity of his mother. He can go from 0 to 60 in 20 seconds and in 60 to 0 in another 20. He also worked as a therapy dog for a while. He loves to do anything you want to do. His favorite pastime is swimming. We can hardly keep him out of the pool. He loves to play ball and work with me in obedience. AJ is a lot fun but he can settle down and be ready for work in an instant. He is the father of multiple champions and one of my best buddies.
